What this covers

This explains which cookies DrSensory sets, which are optional, and how to refuse them.

The short version

The short version: essential cookies to make the site work, analytics only if you accept, and no advertising cookies at all.

You’re in control

Use the cookie banner to accept or decline. Your choice is remembered on your device.

1 · What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, for instance — do much the same thing, and this policy covers those too.

2 · What we set

CategoryWhat forOptional?
EssentialKeeping the site working, remembering your cookie choice, and keeping a checkout session togetherNo — the site cannot work without them
AnalyticsGoogle Analytics, so we can see which pages are read and which are notYes — only set if you accept
AdvertisingNoneNot applicable

We do not run advertising on this site and we set no advertising cookies. The consent banner asks about advertising storage because that is the standard set of signals Google's consent framework expects, but nothing here uses them.

Until you accept, analytics storage is switched off. If you decline, or ignore the banner, we do not set analytics cookies at all.

What analytics tells us is which pages people read, roughly where in the world they are, and what brought them here. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to connect it to anything you send us.

4 · Third parties that may set their own

A few services we use can set storage of their own when their part of a page loads:

  • Google Maps — on directory pages that show a map
  • UserWay — the accessibility widget, which remembers your accessibility settings
  • Stripe — at checkout, for fraud prevention
  • jsDelivr — a content delivery network for some scripts

These are governed by their own policies, not ours.

5 · Changing your mind

Use the cookie banner to accept or decline. Your choice is remembered on your device.

Or clear them in your browser — Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies. Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data. Safari: Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data. Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions.

Clearing the stored choice means the banner asks again next time.

6 · Changes

We may update this policy if what we set changes. The version in force is the one published here, and the last updated date is at the top.
