Privacy Policy
Last updated August 25, 2026
This policy explains what DrSensory collects, why, who it goes to, and how to have it deleted.
1 · Who we are
DrSensory LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Nevada, is responsible for the personal information described here.
Contact: hello@drsensory.com
2 · What this policy covers
This policy covers www.drsensory.com — the educational content, the provider directory, accounts, reviews, the newsletter, and the shop.
It does not cover the practices of any provider listed in our directory, or any other website we link to. Those are their own.
3 · What we collect
When you contact us — your name, email address, what you write, and optionally the subject you pick and how you found us.
When you send an inquiry to a provider — your name, email address, a phone number if you give one, and what you write about your own or your child's needs. See section 4.
When you subscribe to the newsletter — your email address.
When you submit a review — your name, your email address, a rating, and your comment. Your email address is used to verify the review and is never published.
When you apply to write for us — your name, email address, credentials, and what you propose to write.
When you buy something — what you ordered and where it goes. Card details are entered with Stripe and never reach us.
Automatically — standard server logs, and, if you accept analytics cookies, how pages are used. See our Cookie Policy.
4 · Inquiries you send to a provider
The directory lets you send a message to a listed provider.
We pass your message and your contact details to that provider so they can reply. They are an independent business, and once your message reaches them, what they do with it is governed by their privacy practices and not ours.
Please do not include more detail about a child's health than you need to in order to ask your question. A first name and a short description of the difficulty is enough to start a conversation.
We keep a record of the inquiry so we can pass on a reply, resend it if it does not arrive, and answer you if you ask what happened to it. You can ask us to delete that record at any time — email hello@drsensory.com.
We do not guarantee a response. Some listings are unclaimed and the provider may not be expecting a message from us.
5 · How we use it
- To answer you, and to pass an inquiry to the provider you chose
- To operate accounts and claimed listings
- To verify and publish reviews
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it
- To take and fulfill orders
- To keep the site working, secure, and free of spam
- To understand which pages are useful, where you have accepted analytics cookies
6 · Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores newsletter subscribers, provider inquiries, contributor submissions, reviews, and orders |
| Mailgun | Sends the email we send — replies, inquiry forwards, review verification codes, newsletter |
| Stripe | Takes payments. Card details go to Stripe, not to us |
| Vercel | Hosts the site and keeps server logs |
| Google Analytics | Measures page use, only if you accept analytics cookies |
| Google Maps | Renders maps on directory pages |
| UserWay | Provides the accessibility widget |
And the provider you contacted, where you send an inquiry — see section 4.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
7 · What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not share your inquiry with anyone except the provider you chose to contact.
8 · How long we keep it
Inquiries sent to a provider — deleted automatically after 12 months, and sooner on request. There is no reason to keep a message about your child longer than that. A scheduled job removes them; it is not something we have to remember to do.
Contact messages — these are emailed to us and are not stored in a database. They stay in our inbox while they are useful for following up, and are deleted on request.
Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe, which every newsletter links to.
Reviews — for as long as the review is published. The email address behind it is kept only to verify it.
Orders — as long as we need them for accounting and returns.
Accounts — while the account is open.
9 · Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@drsensory.com and we will act on it.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email we send.
You can refuse analytics cookies using the banner, or clear them in your browser at any time. See our Cookie Policy.
If your review is published and you want it taken down, ask us and we will remove it.
10 · Children
This site is written for adults — parents, caregivers, adult patients, and clinicians. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Where you tell us about a child, you are giving us information about them, not from them. Please share only what you need to, and never a child's full name where a first name would do.
11 · Security
Information is held with the services named in section 6, which use encryption in transit and access controls. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.
If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
12 · Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published here, and the last updated date is at the top.
13 · Contact
